The Bass family did an oustanding job bringing back the downtown area to it's late 19th century charm with engaging storefront facades and gas lamp style street lights. Horse drawn carriage rides and trendy bars and boutique shops make this a must see before heading off to the Fort Worth Stockyards.

The bread and butter of Fort Worth tourism. The downtown area has plenty of good restaurants and entertainment, and several nice hotels. The area is heavily patrolled by Fort Worth Police and Sundance's private security, and any problems are resolved swiftly.
