The Riverwalk is a canal of water set below the street's of downtown. It has bars, restaurants, and shops all on either side of it. It is great for families or for single's!! The Alamo is just above it on the street as well for those of you who are history buffs.

The Alamo has lost it's luster over the years, especially with all of the building now surrounding the historic sight. But the Riverwalk is forever evolving. Go check it out and you might be pleasantly surprised.

San Antonio is home to the Alamo, Ft. Sam Houston, The RiverWalk and quite a bit more. Try to stay on the Riverwalk so you can stroll along the banks and enjoy dinner on the water.

Good shopping and restaurants, this is probably the best place to go in San Antonio if you want to walk around for a day. Just make sure you don't overheat!

Was in San Antonio for New Years and it was a lot of fun. We did the Alamo and the Riverwalk. It was definitely a good time.
