The story of the Alamo is way more interesting than the actual site. There are a few interesting artifacts in the display cases, but for the most part it is just an empty old building. The Alamo does have a good location, though...smack-dab in the middle of the city and virtually across the street from the riverwalk.

Interesting site. There's tons of information about the history of the Alamo and all the battles. The first time I saw it there was a reenactment happening.

I love history. The Alamo was totally awsome, the exhibits were well laid out. And the reinactments were very intertaining. It's a great day trip.

Great place to go and learn a whole lot in a fun way! Had a blast looking at The Alamo as well as the other historic sites and info. in the area

It's beautiful, historical, and has connections to members of my family. It's pretty cool but it has some stiff competition from the Riverwalk.
