Oct 27, 2008 Another unbelievably scenic park in Utah. I camped at Dead Horse Point and tried to drive to Canyonlands to see the sunrise at Mesa Arch but got there a bit late. Don't make the same mistake...get there early if you've already seen the sunrise/set at Arches this is an awesome spot too. Aug 4, 2008 My dad used to take me on vacation here every year. It's a very surreal place. Don't take any white or light colored clothing, as it will return home permanently pink from the red dust. And LOTS of water. Also, don't step on the microbiotic soil! Oct 20, 2008 There are lots of great short hikes and wonderful lookouts in this park. If you have the time I would definately recommend doing one of the longer half or full day hikes to truly get a sense of the wonder of this park.
