Its a dry, hot and salty island in the Great Salt Lake. Has a Camp Site (no water, chem toilets), as well as a visitor center and a buffalo ranch. Lot of free living buffalos, and you'll hear coyotes howling and hunting duringb the night. bathingt in the great salt lake is a must, although the billions of salt flies are disgusting. you'll float like a cork.

The white sand beach is fantastic, but there are brine flies and egg casings all over that form a crust a few feet from the water line. Tends to smell funny, but the view from the mountain is spectacular!
