Zion National Park ’s main entrance is quaint and picturesque with cute little shops and restaurants and the scenic drive is fantastic if a bit crowded. The main park is beautiful but I truly loved Kolob Canyons, it was peacefully and lovely. It isn't commercialized or crowded and it felt much more natural. Both are worth a visit, neither is really better it just depends what you’re looking for.

Absolutely loved this park. The hiking trails are great!! Beginners to advanced will enjoy this park. The lengths of the hikes vary from very short to very long (I think the longest is like a couple of days or maybe a week, I can't remember). Be sure to listen to advice given in the brochure. Some trails you have to cross a stream or climb over rocks so know your level before attempting. There are also mountain lions so be on the look out and know how to react if you come face to face with one!

One of the most amazing hikes in this country - Angel's Landing - will scare you to tears - atleast it did me. A chain rail somewhat protects you from the sheer drop off 1,500 feet down - But when I finally collected myself and made it to the top - the sense of relief and awe were overwhelming. One of my best memories so far!

Vivid red rocks under a bright blue sky. Absolutely gorgeous. Don't forget the east side of the park. It's less crowded and just a beautiful as the main canyon with it's wide open expanses of patterned sandstone. It's also where you may be able to see herds of bighorn sheep if you're lucky.

A great park, go there in the fall and you'll have it all to your self. If you like to hike and aren't afraid of heights Angels Landing is won of the coolest hikes I've done. It's a lot of vertical climb in a short distance so make sure you are in shape.
