This is a nice alternative to the regular bus tours around a city -wish it were in every city! You start out with a little history lesson in the front room, te get you started. You then break up into smaller groups to follow your leader through alleys and under buildings. This is all narrated and your questions are happily answered. You get a real feel for how the city started, from the ground up -pardon the pun ; ) This can appeal to history buffs, architechts, the "been there, done that" crowd or anyone with some time to kill and a little curiosity!

I thought it was great! If you've been to Pike's Place, the Space Needle, or any of the other usual guide book suggestions... here's something different. Not too physically challenging (depending on your opinion of stairs) and gives you a real feel for how people lievd/struggled/survived through the ages.
