Established in 1990, the Fremont Market has evolved into a thriving and diverse European-style, street market that goes all year 'round every Sunday. The market hosts anywhere up to 150 exhibitors who continue to delight the crowds and treasure hunters week after week with everything you can imagine and some things you can't - antiques, collectibles, bygones, retro, vintage and original fashion, estate sale treasures, tools, deluxe junk and the cream of regional garage sales (pre-selected by professionals.) In addition there is constantly changing bazaar of colorful and surprising world imports as well as new and original designers, artists and craftsmen showing with stunning, heart warming, one-of-a-kind and often improbably wonderful offerings. This season we have great street food including Veracci pizzas, French crepes, Chicago style dogs, Tamales, Thai desserts, Tuscan Bruschettas, and much more. With Fremont's sister farmers market in Ballard bursting its belt, we're bringing the farmers component back this season by popular demand. The market is truly a magic box where anything and everything is possible. It's free to the public, pet friendly, bike accessible and goes on rain or shine.

The Market is bracketed on the West end by a Chocolate Factory and a Circus Troupe and by an English style pub on the East side which has a spacious deck that over looks the market below ( how cool is that?) Join us here at the "Center of the Universe", to discover relaxed, lazy Sundays of brunching, buskers, browsing, treasure hunting, people watching, dog walking, and trend spotting. Against the backdrop of the multitude of shops, bistros, cafes and multi-ethnic restaurants, and delightful trompe l'oeille sculptures, Sunday in Fremont makes a fabulous Sunday out. The market is one mile north of the space needle at the north end of the Fremont bridge, an easy 10 minute ride from downtown Seattle or the waterfront.

Almost everyone that visits Seattle knows about the world famous Pikes Place Market. Few people know about the Fremont Sunday Market except for locals. The market was established back in 1990 and has evolved ever since. The market hosts 150+ stalls and venders selling a variety of treasures including antiques, collectibles, art, world imports, bygones, retro, vintage and original fashion, estate sale treasures, tools, and deluxe junk. There are usually flower venders as well depending on the time of year. The market also hosts lots of yummy street food venders. The market is located north of the space needle at the north end of the Fremont Bridge , an easy 10 minute ride from downtown Seattle or the waterfront. Fremont itself is a wonderful escape from the usual touristy Seattle housing many unique shops and boutiques, fabulous restaurants (including my favorite Thai place in Seattle : Jai Thai), and the famous Fremont Troll. Fremont also has a night scene that rivals downtown with numerous bars and clubs. The market is open year round. Summer season: April-November 10-5 Winter season: Nov-April 10-4
