The Dam Ri waterfall is a 90 metre tall waterfall situated near Bao Loc town.  Dam Ri, which means "waiting" in Co ho, is derived from the legend of two lovers, Dam and H'Ri, who met, and fell in love.  One day, Dam went hunting and when he did not return, H'Ri waited and wept, and wept so much thta her tears created a stream that cascaded down into a large waterfall.  When Dam finally returned and was told of his wife's fate, he leapt into the steam, and was transformed into a lion.  Near the base of the waterfall is a rock shaped in the form of a lion.

This is quite an impressive waterfall and about the only touristy site around so if you happen to find yourself in Bao Loc it's definitely worth a visit.  It's possible to hire scooters and drivers who will take you out there from Bao Loc.
