I saw more Shivalingams at the Cham Museum in Hoi An, Vietnam than i've ever seen at one place in India! There are apsaras, Ganpatis - even Garuda! Ancient statues excavated by French archeologists in the 1920s and beautifully preserved for us to see... The widespread influence of Hindu Indian kings all those centuries ago is humbling indeed.
