Sep 28, 2010 The story our guide told us was that this bridge was crucial during the war. But it kept getting bombed, making it impossible for the troops to cross. Until someone came up with the idea of building a small temple on top of the bridge. That made the other guys stop bombing it, for fear of divine retribution. While you're standing at the temple, you can see the river flowing under the wooden floorboards... quaint and sweet and lovely!
