Japanese Bridge
About Japanese Bridge
This tiny bridge (which you can only walk over, not drive over) is really old. There is a Japanese temple on top of the bridge, which i am told was built to stop the bombing - nobody wanted to risk bombing a holy site. And that really helped them during the war. Otherwise every time the bridge was bombed, they couldn't get to the other side.

In 1999, the old town of Hoi An was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port of the 15th to 19th centuries, with buildings that display a unique blend of local and foreign influences.
