Beautiful, relaxing place to chill out. Make sure to walk out on the sidewalk along the cliffs to the far beach. Eat dinner on the floating restaurants in the harbor. They look grungy, but are delicious and cheap.

Ha Long and Cat Ba Island are an amazing natural wonder. Definately try the spring rolls from the vendor near the wharf - delicious!

I had a great time at the beach here although it is very small. The national park is really great though, but lacks infrastructure.
