About Hang Sung Sot Cave
Hang Sung Sot, also known as the Cave of Surprises, is one of the most popular caves visited in Halong Bay. Discovered by the French in 1901, Hang Sung Sot is located on Bo Hon Island along with Trinh Nu (Virgin Cave). It has three vast chambers, the second of which contains a pink lit phallic shaped rock, which is regarded as a fertility symbol.
