Just at the entrance of the park there is a Primate Rehabilitation Center . Anyone visiting should go see that. Once inside there is lodging and a restaurant and although by no means 5 star, it is very much adequate. From the lodging there a few jungle walks or longer treks to go on. One takes you to a thousand year old tree that is just massive! The area used to be the home of the Muong minority tribe, who have since been relocated and one of the longest treks through the jungle takes you to their village, where you can dine with the Muong people or even stay the night! That trek you must take a guide with you because in some places there is no path. Cuc Phuong is filled with spiders of all shapes and sizes along with some of Asia ’s rarest species.

Really really nice place to go. I advise to there by motorbike from Hanoi. In one week end, it is a nice trip to do through the mountains in the south of Hanoi. (Don't the national road...).
There is the possibility to sleep in the center of the park : good experience. Only two hours of electricity and then enjoy the lighs of the fireflys. If you go there in may-june, you have the luck to see thousands of butterflys. The apricot alcohol of Cuc Phuong is something to test!!
