Built in 1927 by Ngo Van Chieu, the Cao Dai Holy See is a cathedral / religious structure for the Cao Dai religion, which is a mixture of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, Islam, and Spirituality.  Cao Daoists believe in a universal god represented by the Divine Eye.  Cao Dai Holy See serves as the original place of worship, and features a cathedral-like structure painted in various bright colours, with the Divine Eye painted at the top.  Square pagodas are situated around the edges of the building.

In the interior, a mix of animals, including lions and turtles, are mixed amongst a blue sky ceiling decorated with stars, all of which is supported by pink pillars feature green dragon sculptures.  It can be considered a hodgepodge of styles and influences.

It is easy to combine a trip here with one to Cu Chi tunnels all in one day.  I recommend skipping this and just going to Cu Chi.  The temple is interesting, but it requires a ton of extra time on the crowded bus and there were other places I would have enjoyed doing more with my day.

Seeing as it was the only I saw in Tay Ninh, I guess it has to my favourite. A very strange but fascinating religion. Got to observe part of their noon mass, which I always think is an honour.
