Jan 27, 2009 I have been on several snorkeling excursions and this beach beat them all. It's only a few dollars for a mask and snorkel. The locals also pass out dog bones for you to feed the fish with. The fish swim up right in front of your face to eat...hundreds of them at a time (no exaggeration!). It's so much fun. This beach isn't really close to the port so it's not crowded at all. There is also a beachside hut that offers lunch and drinks if you want. I really appreciated the showers and restrooms on the beach as well because you could wash all of the sand off before you went back into town! Apr 20, 2009 Even if you're only going for one day, go when there are less than two cruise ships coming in that day, if it's only one then take advantage!! No ships will mean less or no ammenities as the locals primarily set up to sell their goods when there are tourists (of course). Otherwise it's a beautiful beach as most of them are in the USVI. On a side note, I went one day when there were four ships...... NEVER again! :) Dec 27, 2009 It has been awhile since i have been to the islands, but I do remember enjoying my time snorkeling on these beaches. Typically all the people i encountered were very pleasant and helpful in many ways Jul 1, 2008 It's tucked into a little cove, hardly anybody is ever there. Get a taxi and go, it's well worth it. I'd say it's better than Megan's Bay... Related Links
