In the shops, I enjoyed buying old ottoman coins. You can fşnd old antique coins and other items in good price here. Even I wanted to buy an old ottoman rifle that the Ottomans left when they withdrew but I was afraid to take it out from the airport

It's so huge you can get lost in it all day. The people are kind and friendly. The food is wonderful and you get the feeling you aren't in the same century as the rest of the world. It is exciting and stimulating!

The Old City is by far the best place to meet interesting people, buy qat, and experience what Sana'a was like 300 years ago.

The remaining city gate of the old city of Sana'a. A good place to sit down and watch the market and people passing by.
