I went to the Dominican Republic during my spring break. We went down to work in the communities and to do school assemblies. It was an amazing time. Ocoa is a town in the valley surround by the mountians, and it was beautiful. We oftern traveled into schools in the villages, where the living conditions were below poor, and yet these people still had smiles. The wildlife and bugs were saw were amazing. The dogs kept us up some nights but over all it was great to see how these people lived.
