I spent just three(3) days in the capital of Turkey, mostly for vacation/tourism (and also had the pleasure to attend the "2nd Ankara Cosplay Party" as well).

I awoke today to the sound of the call to prayer, which happens five times daily. The first call is around 5:30am, the second around noon, then another at 5:00, 8:30, and 10:00pm. The times are approximate and change depending on the lunar cycle. I like hearing the call to prayer- it's very melodic and reminds me that I am in a new place with unfamiliar customs. It throws me off still, as Ian and I will be sleeping, walking, eating, sight-seeing...anything really when suddenly there is..(More)
