This 150 years old horse-steak restaurant is really a must. In the heart of Vilvoorde, a city known in the old days for its horse market (the inhabitants are called "pièrefretters", which is horse eaters in the local dialect). The traditional steack is served with salad and fries. There is a nice wine list and a good selection of traditional beers from Brabant ("kriek" and "geuze")

Excellent horse steak, served with salad and fries. Good wine list and traditional beers. As dessert, try the pancake with ice-cream and liquor.
