Oct 30, 2008 It was my birthday while in Rio so I had my parents pay for my friends and I to go to a nice meal for once. We picked Porcao because of the review we found that described it as "an orgy of meat." This place was stupendous on every level. I think it ended up costing something around $50 a person, but boy was it great. The slices of beef, lamb, pork and chicken were phenomenal and the servers wouldn't stop coming, even when our red cards were on the table. The service was insane. If I picked up a bottle of soda to refill my glass, a waiter would come grab the bottle of my hand before i had a chance to tip it over to pour and do it for me. Awesome experience there. Afterwards I was so full I felt drunk and walked almost a mile past my hostel without realizing it. Feb 5, 2009 After eating almost everything off the typical brazillian cuisine, I thought I’d give brazillian BBQ a try. I went to Porcao restaurant in Barra and I gotta say I was impressed. They had so many options and the meat was tender, juicy and tasteful, just the way I like them. It was a bit pricey, but for the quality of the meat I got, I expected the bill to be much more expensive. Related Links
