Oct 17, 2008 MMmmm. I went to numerous Brazilian BBQ restaurants, called churrascarias, in Brazil and in particular Rio de Janeiro. Some were smaller and less touristy, but this is the only one I can remember the name of! Porcao I believe means "big pig" and is a great name, as they serve you up so many kinds of meat it is unbelievable. The buffet of seafood, salads and other food is huge. Every single item was delicious. We had eaten so much meat - beef, chicken, all sorts of kinds, served by waiters with huge swords at your table - that we almost forgot to check out the rest of the food. This is a chain churrascaria, and not cheap. It is in a nice setting, smart casual I would say. Don't eat anything all day if you plan to go here! Overall my second favourite churrascaria in Rio, I just don't remember the name of the other one. Go to a Brazilian steakhouse when in Rio!
