Mar 12, 2010 We were driving around Sooke totally starving, and were told that most places are closed on Mondays, and that our best bet was to drive about 20 minutes north to Point no Point. I'm glad we made that drive as the lunch spot was really delightful. It's part of a resort, but anyone can swing by for lunch. The restaurant is perched on the side of a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean and a beach below, and every table has a spectacular view. I thought it was a nice touch too that they had binoculars on every table for you to watch. The lunch menu was small but the items all looked interesting. Based on recommendations, I got the chicken confit which came with potato and a celery root salad, and my friend got the housemade hamburger. Both were absolutely delicious. Once you eat there, they also give you the access code to their private beach, and so in all a wonderful experience.
