Went here just this past weekend since there is also a Banana Leaf in Milpitas, California (unrelated) and I was curious how this Banana Leaf fared.  It was lunchtime, so though I was tempted to try the tasting menu which looked like a good value, but I didn't think I had quite the appetite for it.  The bunch of us split an appetizer plate and two mains.  The appetizer platter came with a mango salad, roti prata, chicken satay skewers and calamari.  The mango salad was different than what I was expecting with actual chunks of mango on top of a bed of lettuce instead of shredded mango, but the dressing was delicious.  The seafood noodle dish was also really good.   Our third dish was a beef curry, but I was so full by that point I was barely able to try it.  Was pretty good overall and very nice portion sizes. :)

I used to work just around the corner and was bummed to discover this place 5 years after leaving Vancouver.

Pretty good Malaysian at a good price.
