I went to this place by accident. I actually meant to go Kobe but forgot the name of the restaurant. I arrived and realized my mistake, but by then reservations had been made so I figured, what the heck, let's go with the flow.

I came on New Year's eve and they had 3 fixed menu. I got the first option which came with squid, scallops and fish, some sort of beef and vegetables. The two others at the table got the second option which comes with foie gras. We ended up splitting everything so I got to taste it all. I suppose the quality of the food depends on the chef who's cooking it. Our chef seemed nice and threw in a few entertaining tricks (which apparently this restaurant doesn't do much of). He also had a sense of humour. Food was nicely prepared (maybe a touch bit too salty), meat and seafood were tender. Overall good. I'm not quiiiite sure it was worth $38-$42, but it was pretty decent, and for a special occasion taking the family out, I suppose it was worth it. Their normal menus are in the $26-$38 range.

Four of us dined here on New Years Eve. Food was very good, well prepared (sea bass was excellent!) and our chef was friendly. I felt like the quantity of the food could have been higher (or the price lower!) although what was served was very good.
