I was planning on trying out Kintaro when a lady stopped me on the street and urged me to go to Motomachi instead. Apparently she says they have the same owners, but she thought this place was tastier and healthier. I was determined to try Kintaro that day anyway, but my curiosity was piqued to come back and try this place.

The decor of Motomachi is much nicer, and correspondingly the prices are a few dollars more, but there's usually much less of a wait. Unlike Kintaro where you can choose between different fattiness of broths, there's only the option that comes with the broth flavour you choose. I found it flavourful and tasty, and the presentation beautiful, but it was not outstanding. I'd come back if I was in the area and craving ramen, but this wouldn't be a destination place for me.
