A tiny little dessert / tea house situated in Vancouver, Sweet Revenge Patisserie is a popular spot, so if you're planning a visit, come early or be prepared to wait!  The restaurant is a combination of Chinese and Victorian decor with old fashioned tea sets and ornately decorated tabletops.  Desserts range from classics like apple pie to the creme brulee flavour of the moment (including pear, raspberries and more),
zuccotto, cinnamon buns, and more.

We went here with the hopes of sitting down for some dessert, but one look at the crowds gathering outside of the tiny place on this particular cold night and we switched our order to takeout.

The cakes looked good - I ordered the "Smooth Operator" - a chocolate sponge cake with marscapone and raspberry which was pretty darn good - but pretty pricey at about $10 a small slice. The other item - Sweet Revenge was a small dense bitter chocolate cake. The first cake was good, the second one was okay. Nothing was bad, but I needed a better price-quality ratio to be blown away.

Have to agree with Pokin. One of many new, small cramped places on Main, the price/value was way off. Yep the desserts were good but small (for the price).
