The Deck is a general store, post office and licensed cafe that overlooks the ocean in Blandford, Nova Scotia. Come in and Annie White, the owner and operator, will cook you something delicious while you wait. Locally known for it's seafood chowder, The Deck also specializes in other seafood dishes - the specials change daily but never fail to disappoint. Follow-up your meal with an ice cream cone or with the selection of homemade pies and cookies.

The Deck is great! I've never had something that I didn't like! It's really popular with locals and tourists alike. A few years ago The Shipping News was filmed in the area - starring Kevin Spacey, Julianne Moore, Judi Dench, Cate Blanchett, and Rhys Ifans, to name a few - and The Deck was one of the sets!
