Situated on the external perimeter of the Ramada Hotel, this Golden Griddle is a bit cheaper than the one closer to the heart of Niagara Falls tourist trap centre. They offer a weekend brunch for $9.95 (versus $12.95 closer to “downtown”), which gives you a nice selection ranging from an omelette station, a fruit and salad bar, pudding and rice crispy treats bar, to cereals and various hot foods including baked beans, scrambled eggs, perogies, porridge and all. Self disclosure notice – I’m not a big fan of breakfast food. Understandably, therefore, I wasn’t terribly impressed with what we got. The food was so-so, but it was about what I expected. The waitress was nice; she got us a new pot of coffee when she realized the cup she poured was a bit lukewarm, and the great thing was no wait time. Having discovered the Niagara Falls Casio buffet after the fact though, I would have much rather gone to that instead.
