Wow! Every time I go back to Ottawa for a visit, this is a must! Great selection. Soups, salads and Painted Potatoes can be offered as a combo. Food is prepared on premises by the friendly staff. Weekly specials offer some variety (for those like me who tend to stick with the same). Desserts are delicious and vary (grab the cakes while you can as they may not last!).
Nice atmosphere. Though run by adherants to Sri Chinmoy ("a respected spiritual philosopher"), there is no overbearing religious message, just peace and tranquility. Wall decorations include photos of the leader with famous personalities, paintings by elphants and lovely eastern mobiles.
