I should disclose first at this point that I don’t usually like pubs. I guess I’m just not that excited about the type of pub fare you can usually fined in well, pubs. But I was out-voted the time we went, and in we went. I was hungry, so aside from the pitcher of white beer we ordered, we also got some hot wings and fries. The hot wings came with a yummy blue cheese dressing, and the fries that came were out of this world. The shoe string fries were well seasoned, and were accompanied by a sufficiently powerful garlic mayonnaise that was just addictive. So much so we got a second order that was inhaled about as fast as the first order. The staff was friendly and personable, and I even got a free piece of chocolate (not on the menu) from the bartender as props for sneaking out there to settle the bill before my friends figured out what was going on. I’d go back.
