Julie's Cuban Restaurant
About Julie's Cuban Restaurant
Situated on what seems to be a fairly residential street, Julie's Cuban Rstaurant could be easy to drive past, but once you've found the location, the restaurant's name lit up between two giant Coca Cola signs, is hard to miss. This charming cozy eatery offers a number of tapas options, as well as main dishes.

Jun 26, 2007 Having not tried Cuban food prior to Julie’s, I was excited to see what it was like, and word on the street from friends about the place was positive. This low key, busy, homestyle restaurant offered a variety of delicious traditional fare. We all ordered regular entrees, and THEN OD’d on a hearty selection of appetizers. Their Frituras de Mais (peppery corn fritters with sour cream) were so good that we had to order it three times, and the Chirzo in red wine was completely memorable. Everything was well-seasoned, aromatic, and just good. I’d say the only downside was that the portions aren’t massive, and the amount we ordered came with a correspondingly high sticker-shock price, leaving me a smidgen disappointed with the price quality ratio. At the end of the day, it’s the kind of place I would go to occasionally, but it wouldn’t become a food mecca for me.
