A French Bistro feel, La Palette has been in Kensington Market area for over 10 years, but recently opened a new location on Queen West as the old one will be closing. It is French food with a casual yet elegant vibe. Focus on special game meats and unique dishes, with a wide selection of beers.

While this review is for there soon to be closed Kensington location, the new location is largely the same, with some menu item twists. We had to bison ribeye and the quack n track, which is duck and horse. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Wine prices were not absurd, and the fresh vegetables and attentive service was much appreciated. Overall very impressed, and horse is now one of my favourite edible animals!
