Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, L'Entrecôte Saint Jean has been around in Montreal for a number of years.  This French bistro style restaurant serves a grilled strip loin steak with home frices, a salad and protieroles.

I LOVE this place. In fact, if I ever open a restaurant, I'm going to do exactly what they do. They specialize in one thing, and one thing is all they serve. Well actually, it's a 3 or 4 course menu, but it's exactly the same thing, night after night. And they do it so well. First course is soup or a walnut salad. Second course is their grilled strip loin with home fries and sauce, followed by the same predictable dessert. Profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce. Yum!
