I always get teased when I go to this restaurant, because being Asian and all, going there usually gets my companions and I free dessert, and occasionally free soup too. I’m convinced it’s my Asianess, and the fact that I use my kindergarden level Chinese on them, but somehow my friends are convinced it’s for some other reason. Anyhow, the food preparation is always quick, consistently good quality, delicious dishes (my favourites being their bok choy with shrimp balls, the half a steamed chicken with ginger, garlic and green onions, and their and their braised egg plant dish). Moon Shing also has great lunch specials, including $3.99 specials that come with soup or spring roll plus a main dish such as chicken chow mein. C’mon. In this day and age, where else do you get that kind of price / return ratio?
