Pete's TexMex is a great restaurant with all different kinds of American and Mexican food. Pete is from Texas and he pretty much makes the food as you would find it in the southwest. They also have great western desserts, such as pies and cakes, that are really hard to find in central China. There are a lot of foreigners that go there, teachers and people with families, so it has a great atmosphere. Two bonuses, it is about three restaurants down from Grandma's Cafe, which is another western restaurant, and across the street is a little store which carries western foods like hot cocoa, ketchup, soups, candy and the rest.

Just to inform anyone who is interested---Peter is not from the US, but is a young Chinese man who has worked very hard to realize his dream of operating his own restaurant.
