Decorated like a gingerbread house on the outside and a rural farm on the inside, the Ivica i Marica restaurant offers up great Croatian cuisine. The waitstaff are decked out in national costumes. Homemade pasta and locally picked mushrooms, coupled with Croatian wine, are simply delicious! At the end of the meal, try their house "energy drink" made from pure juices of a number of fruits and vegetables.

Like entering a fairy tale, with waiters to match, this place in Zagreb's old town makes great coffee and even greater cakes, plus evoking a feeling of being in a story within a setting which is itself idyllic as is Zagreb's old town.
