Fife (not Fifa!!!) is the most famous restaurant among the locals in Split. Inside the restaurant they have a newspaper article framed and hanged on the wall that says: "Fife, the best food, the worst service".
And it's true. But you have to understand that this is the charm of the Balkans and this is the charm of Eastern Europe. If you want perfect service and your food coming in 10 minutes after you order, go to a fast food restaurant. Fife waiters are messy, forgetting and a little crazy. But the food they serve makes everything totally perfect! (Try lamb goulash or baked fish of almost any kind).

Fifa has good food and bad service, especially if you are not a local. Rather than get upset, just know that the bad service is part of its charm. Order the shark.
