The best restaurant in that area with fresh food. Be carefull for the others restaurant becouse they show you fresh fish but they prepare other that is not fresh.

Situated in the harbour of the old picturesque fisherman's village Volosko ( Opatija ), Le Mandrać offers a unique dining experience inside and also on a beautifull terrace ( heated in winter ).  The relaxed, comfortable atmosphere is complemented by a frequently changing menu.

Let time float by, linger with lunch al fresco .

Relax by candlelight with ambient music and stunning sea-side views.

A wide selection of dishes ( slow food ) is guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning palate  with specially selected fine wines served by glass.

When we ate here in 2010, the food was experimental, exciting modern fare. This year we noted a change to simpler cooking though still beautifully prepared.
This is a restaurant we would be happy to visit on a regular basis if we lived in the area.

This restaurant has a much vaulted reputation, and it did live up to the high standard expected. The chef is not afraid to try new things, and careful not to get too far away from traditional dishes.
We had our best experience here, but there are a few more good restaurants in the area too.
