It is a family hospoda, the owner is there all the time, I'm not sure if she ever goes home (I have a feeling that home is just upstairs). Typical Czech food is pork, cabbage, sour cream, dumplings, onion, garlic and cumin - all goes well with a beer - and you can have the best there. I strongly recommend Cerny Kozel, it's so refreshing that I even had it with breakfast...
If you are a vegetarian, you won't find anything you could have. If you feel bad in cigarette smoke, you won't be able to dine there either.But if you decide to give it a try, have garlic soup and any meat dish from the menu (with a beer of course).
I have been eating there for a week, sometimes two times a day and I was not disappointed or bored with the menu. Remember that you can easily get fat on Czech cuisine - but it is worth it.
