While it is a bit pricey, Cafe Quote offers an exquisite selection of food and wines, and is located just off the port in Nyhavn near the National Amber Museum. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and can be quite crowded at lunch hour. You may find yourself sharing a table with a Copenhagener or two...they have no problem sharing a table with complete strangers, why should you? haha :) We had an awesome salmon sandwich and the service was good.
