Blue Tops is a quiet respite from the madness of Addis streets. A great place to hang out and have a meal. Set behind a tall fence, it's a sit-down restaurant cafe with seating for about 50 people.

Getting there:
This restaurant is kind of hidden. It is across the street from the National Museum on King George Street, between Arat Kilo and Siddist Kilo. On the East side of the street. You can see the blue tent-like structure peeking out from behind the high fence on the street.

I have been going to Addis for 6 years now and have tried numerous of restaurants. This one is by far, among the best, if not the best. The food is very good, the atmosphere is great. The prices are very reasonable. My wife is Ethiopian and lives there in Addis and also agrees that this is one of the best dining facilities there. It was her first time there and she loved it. We will be going back soon.

You can get a hamburger here and really good french fries! Their bread is pretty good and the Italian food, as usual in Ethy, is pretty darn good. Great place to hang out and chill. Many expats and wealthy Ethiopians will be hanging out here for hours, chatting and enjoying the patio. Nice place. Not too expensive, by Western standards.
