Café on two floors situated at the Augustinerplatz in the Freiburg city center. During summer, it´s also a gelateria. Serves all kinds of italian coffees. Not very large with wooden interior.

This café is an amazing place, quiet and with lots of character. If you visit, don´t miss to go upstairs. A variety of German and international newspapers and magazines is provided.
There´s an original La Cimbali in operation. From 11-19 they play classic music, from 19 till the end there´s jazz music. I have to admit that the chef is not the best barista in the world, but his being a very friendly chap and the atmosphere of the place more than make up for that.
