Hackescher Markt is a great place for shopping in small independent stores, going out (lots of bars, clubs, restaurants). What makes that place the most exciting place is that around 11 p.m. the prostitutes try to find customers and they are very pretty and it's just so much fun to watch them when they try to convince someone to come with them.
At Hackescher Markt you get a glimpse of the real Berlin but more and more tourists come and that's the reason why more and more Berliners move to different location when it comes to partying.

There are many stores. Rather of small shops of known and less known dressmakers. It there also much of connected bars and some discotheque. During the day there are small coffees which propose pastry makings and other sugar refineries. A real delight. It's really the place not to be missed in Berlin.

Great place! A great mixture of cafes and shops. You find all the known designers but also some unknwon Berlin fashion shops!

A good place to get dinner with friends (Italian, Spanish restaurant...etc) and to taste the "Stimmung" of Berlin!
