Eating well in Leh is no brain science - you cannot go wrong as the food is pretty good in most eateries. My definite favourite spot is Oh La La Sandwich Bar on Changspa. It took us all of one day to feel like regulars of this cafe and I fell in love at the first bite of my avocado and boiled egg sandwich. Oh La La is open from dusk way beyond dawn - the opening hours are 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. The staff are very friendly, food is of the mouth-watering variety and the place is also a bakery, so you can stock up on packed lunches for your treck. Definitely worth a try!

The owner is very friendly and this place serves up great food, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I was in Leh for 18 days and this was one of the best places to eat. Great choices, such as eggs, omelets, french toast, coffee, tea, pasta, tuna burgers, pizza! Also available coke, sprite, orange drink and juices. A must place to eat.
