The Sapporo Beer museum is free, and it is fun to walk through and to look at the old advertisements and such, but it is not something spectacular enough to go out of your way for. They do have a beer tasting portion at the end of the museum, which they charge a small amount for, but they don't really have a lot of variety for beer, and i think everything they had at the time you could just as easily sample from any restaurant or corner store.

This is a place where you go if you want to pig out on the local "lamb" dish, "Ghengis Khan". It's cheap and you can ask for more in the time limit you choose. Make sure you put your coat orsweater in the big plastic bag they give you, as the next day your clothes SMELL! I think Japanese mistake mutton for lamb as I'd never known lamb to smell before this! Still, it was great to eat!

Best beer in Japan. Strange sort of beer kellor with Japanese women dressed as German women and lots of German food made Japanese style.
