Head south on Highway 58, and turn left again on Kokutai road, which runs around Kadena Air Base. You will come to a green pedestrian overpass. Turn right at this traffic light and "Yoshi Hachi will be located on your right after passing a gas station on your left. "Yoshi Hachi" is closed on Tuesdays.

I'm a fan of sushi, but eating here changed my life. Seriously. I would never consider myself a "Sushi Snob" but after Yoshi's, I am VERY particular about the sushi I eat. It was SOO good, I ate the rice that fell of the roll. I'm sitting there, dabbing my finger on all the rice remainders. I normally shower my sushi with seasons and juices, but here . . . forget about it! Trust.

Yoshi's is ok, however certainly not the best on island. I could eat sushi everyday and during my first 22 years on Okinawa I have ate there once, I dont think their will be a 2nd time during my next 22 years.

I patronized this place twice a week from '97 to '01! The very best sushi anywhere...and I have been to hundreds of places in the world. Oh, and that Orion beer...terrific!
