A great find on Gozo, an Island near Malta. After eating out in several local restaurants and cafe's we walked into Maji. It is just a sign saying Maji Restaurant daytimes it is closed, so after six walk in. It is a quiet haven with a very nice interior. After looking at the menu we reserver two places for the next evening. The wine card is impressive to say the least, we think an estimated 125 wines at least. We made our choices from the menu and were more than pleasently suprised by the quality of the food, to say it was excellent. The local Matltese wine we choose was very very good aswell, as we were already told after our choice. The botttle was 21,50 euro and great quality for money. We payed about 85 euro for the two of use which again was great value for money. It is a restaurant run mainly by two man, the chef and the owner. If you like food and wan't to get away from the pasta's and rabbit served in many places go here!!
