We ate there many times while we lived in Aachen 1978 - 1980. Enjoyed every visit. The wine list had wood covers that resembled a door to a wine cellar. My passport was 1/2 filled with stamps from Vaals (the border guards on the Autobahn just waved us through but the ones at Vaals needed something to do:-)

They have the same menu card over the last 10 years. And every time again the food is excellent. They treat you like a real guest. The make small chat's with you about various things. Happy to serve. The place looks a bit old fashioned. But it's just classy. You really need to have been here once in your life time.
